Haseena Parkar’ Song ‘Tere Bina’ Traces Haseena’s Journey From Matrimony To Motherhood

Siblings Shraddha Kapoor and Siddhanth Kapoor will share screen space for the very first time in Apoorva Lakhia’s gangland drama ‘Haseena Parkar’ and the first song from the movie, titled ‘Tere Bina’, was unveiled a couple of days back.

Featuring Shraddha as Dawood Ibrahim’s sister Haseena Parkar and Ankur Bhatia, who plays her husband Ibrahim Parkar, ‘Tere Bina ‘ is a melodious and romantic track, which traces Haseena’s journey from matrimony to motherhood and highlights the beautiful relationship between Haseena and Ibrahim. The song has an old world charm to it and the chemistry between Ankur and Shraddha is quite impressive.


Talking about the number, Apoorva said, “We shot the song at a few real locations and on some sets. Shooting this particular song was slightly difficult as Shraddha is seen in various stages of her life in this song and it was a task to maintain continuity with regards to her costumes and body suits etc.”

The romantic number has been composed by Sachin-Jigar and Arjit Singh and Priya Saraiya have lent their voices to it. Priya Saraiya has also penned the lyrics.
 
Directed by Apoorva Lakhia, Haseena Parkar stars Shraddha Kapoor, Siddhanth Kapoor and Ankur Bhatia. Produced by Nahid Khan with Swiss Entertainment and co-produced by Sameer Antulay and Babu Tyagi, the film is set to release on September 22.

The concept behind the movie is that if two people are meant to be together; they will always find their way back to one another if it’s true love. A story of how two people realize their love for each other and get back to one another with a Happy Ending.

Arjun Rampal's Daddy based on the life of Arun Gawli is Bollywood's first accurate and real depiction of the life of a gangster. The makers of the film have made efforts to stay true to the various aspects of Gawli's life, even his religious values and beliefs. Keeping this sentiment in mind the makers have included a Ganpati song in the film tilted Aala Re Aala Ganesha. Composed by Sajid Wajid and sung by Wajid and Dr Ganesh Chandanshive the track is a major highlight of the film.


The Ganesh festival signifies an important place in Gawli's life. Despite being someone who welcomed the celebration of all festivals Hindu or Muslim, Gawli was very close to Lord Ganesha. In fact the entire Dagdi Chawl area where he lived was lit up and heavily decorated during the 10 day celebration of the festival. What is also special about the song is the fact that to retain authenticity and make it as real as possible the makers called the same band (Ajinkya Band) for Ganpati song who had played in Arun Gawli's son's wedding. These small details have helped Aala Re Aala Ganesha look extremely authentic and real. The brief of the song was to give the audience a glimpse into the personal space of Gawli, showcase his human side where he felt small and humble in front of Lord Ganesha. Despite his larger than life image, the moment he stepped on to the Ganesh pandal in Dagdi he transformed into an ordinary person seeking the lords blessings.
 Arjun says, " Gawli had a special relationship with Lord Ganesha. Despite his public image and and the way media portrayed him, deep down he was a God fearing man. Those 10 days of the Ganesh festival were an important period in his life. Shooting the Ganesh song was an amazing experience because I got to portray a totally different side of Gawli."

 Aala re aala Ganesha has been choreographed by Kiran Giri and Santosh Bhangre in the most authentic way. Around 300 people were asked to participate in the song. The song is an exact replica of how it felt like to be in Dagdi Chawl during the Ganesh festival. While there have been several Ganpati song in Bollywood, Aala re aala Ganesha stands out because of its composition and the way it has been shot.

Smile Foundation kicks start #Indulge4Smile with Jhelum Multi Designer store and Aurelle by Leshna Shah to support #SheCanFly 




NGO Smile Foundation in association with Jhelum, a multi-designer store and Aurelle by Leshna Shah the jewellery brand, presented #Indulge4Smile a charity Trunk Show to support their campaign #SheCanFly. Celebrating girl child empowerment with fashion and flair, Jhelum Fashion House and Aurelle launched their new festive collection 2017. Chief Guests Divya Khosla Kumar and Jyotika Gundecha launched the charity show which also witnessed prominent personalities from Bollywood, Television and Fashion circuit including Leshna Shah, Muskaan Mihani, Vindhya Tiwari, Dolly Sidhwani and Natasha Assadi –Miss India Universe 2015 amongst many others who came to support the cause.


The event witnessed a special screening of the movie Jungle Book for Smile Foundation kids followed by activities including styling tips by Jhelum Gopal Dalvi and jewellery tips by Leshna Shah. Pro make-up artist and consultant Neha Oberoi gave interesting instructions to up your glamorous side and she focused on eye makeup for this special masterclass.
